We are a team of professional software developers that specializes in creation of complicated web-applications. In the course of our work, we have discovered the necessity to create a convenient program, which is capable to provide encryption of private correspondence. This decision is conditioned by the fact that all correspondence of our team with clients, in which jabber protocol is used, is unprotected and can be available for the third persons. Any time they culd use it from mercenary motives. To protect private information, we had to write SafetyJabber program (SJ).

The use of other products (for example, Psi, Psi ++ and many others) was unacceptable to us, because they were too difficult for ordinary users, that didn't have special knowledge in software programming. It's necessary to mention that even well- known and popular clients,such as ICQ, MSN or Skype are characterized by lack of transparent encryption and have “gaps” in protection and can not considered to be reliable, as those companies, which created them, collaborate with bodies of government and security services of different states.

At the beginning of realization of the idea of creation of reliable software, which could provide encryption of the correspondence, we had an idea to use already existed web-developments . Unfortunately, we failed because of their low quality. After long discussions we decided to create our own client that would have a fair number of functions and meet requirements of the time!

Our development is compatible with other clients that support GnuPG encryption. For example, it is used by Psi and many other programs, which are easy and reliable.

Creation of SafetyJabber client took a lot of time. We are sure that it was not all in vain. You'll be convinced of this by downloading this program on your computer and starting to use it. Moreover, it can be useful as a constant jabber-client.
